CARLOS, GUAYMAS
Sidek leaves San Carlos. Sidek had assets that
include Las Glorias, Pelicanos, Royal Golf, other
mansion lots, locals in the marine and other properties.
As part of the Sidek-Situr Group, in 1992 contributed

Now, with the identity of Marina San Carlos, [Tere

GUAYMAS-EMPALME
The Industrial Parks Rocafuerte and Bellavista represent
for this towns a new way of life and a new work discipline
that achives important levels of productivity in all
their plants. The Industrial Parks Rocafuerte and
Bellavista are important job generators and a valuable
option for investors to the region.
These parks are members of the Mexican Association
of Industrial Parks and part of the Offshore Group
[offshore.com] and one of the best facilities that
include fiber optics network and their own water treatment
plant.
This parks are in process of verification of the NMX-R-046-SCFI
-2002 norms.

NOGALES
The new Master Lock Distribution Center in Nogales,
will be operating at itís maximum capacity
in April. It has initially generated 70 new jobs,
number that will eventually grow. The inverstment
made for construction is of 10 million dollars. Originally
this center was to be made in Kentucky, U.S.A.
This same company bought the American Lock company
and will move its production lines from Chicago to
the plant in Nogales Sonora, generating new jobs.
This change is planned to be finished by August this
year.

BÁCUM
"Lacteos" [Dairy] is the name of the recently
inagurated milk processing company in this town. Regional
producers participate generating more than 80 direct
jobs.
Daily, four thousand liters of milk are processed
and 800 kilograms of cheese of different varieties
are made, which are distributed and sent to cities
such as Tijuana, Mexicali, and the Yaqui region.

PEÑASCO
Worldwide Group started the construction of The Links
at Las Palomas Golf Club in Puerto Peñasco,
Sonora. The Las Palomas Seaside Golf Community project
was presented to the community, US residents, investors,
and to development and turism promoters of the region.

CANANEA
- NACO - BACOACHI...
In 2004 the State Governmentís investment in
agriculture and cattle ranches will double last yearís
investment in rural development. This includes Cananea,
Agua Prieta, Naco, Nacozari, Fronteras and Bacoachi.
This investment is to figth the effects of drought.

CIUDAD OBREGÓN
Giant Motors, car assembly company for the Rino model
announced its growth with an investment of 4.5 million
dollars and will generate 100 direct jobs.
The new location will be in the industrial park of
Cd. Obregon with 2 thousand square meters, for plant,
offices, load and unload areas, and 6 thousand square
meters to park the assambled vehicles.
