Oscar Ramírez

Among his peers, Oscar Ramirez is in the top half of one percent. He is considered “The Preferred Broker” for high-end golf properties. Fluent in both English and Spanish, many of Ramirez’s clients are well-established Hispanic families in Tucson and Nogales and Mexican nationals.

Ramirez plays golf and has homes listed at Tucson National Country Club, La Paloma and most of the area’s finest country clubs. He is a member of The Gallery, a prestigious private club named by Golfweek as one of the ‘Top 100 Modern Courses in America.’ This championship course was designed by award-winning golf course architect John Fought, and British Open Champion Tom Lehman.

The Gallery also has many of Tucson’s most luxurious private homes — and several of them are listed with Oscar. “This is a gated community and when you live here, you have maximum security.”

Ramirez said. “The investment you make for a second home here makes great sense — values are going up so fast that it’s better than having the money in the bank.” The average cost per square foot for golf course homes is ranging from $250 to $500 per square foot: prime residential lots are appreciating as well. “There have been instances where people have doubled their money on lots in a single year,” he said.

Like many successful people, Oscar does one thing, and does it extremely well. He has a reputation for being a hard-hitting negotiator — 90% of his business is referrals from satisfied clients. But he also is known for being a good listener. In his business Ramirez meets a lot of influential people and he prides himself in his confidentiality. If a Mexican client buys a second home for investment, Ramirez’s office will even rent it for them when they are not occupying it.

In his spare time Oscar plays in celebrity tournaments that benefit a variety of local charities. He and Mrs. Ramirez are particularly interested in helping the Hispanic Boys’ & Girls’ Club. When it comes to golf properties, Oscar is the “King of Clubs.”

If prospective clients from Mexico come to Tucson and want to play golf, Ramirez will be happy to make arrangements for them at any of the clubs where he plays. Please give him a call before your arrival or drop him an email at: ORamirez@LongRealty.com.
